Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is the applications implementation and development team within Oracle that supports internal system needs including supporting the growth of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure business. We implement Fusion and SAAS services, leveraging AI and OCI native technologies to enable world class application capabilities.

Oracle Applications Labs Enterprise Solution Architecture

The Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) team is responsible for aligning technology investments with business objectives, driving the overall delivery roadmap, and ensuring OAL delivers measurable business value. The role requires a holistic approach across the enterprise and involves close collaboration with Senior Executives, Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders. The team drives organizational success by bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that every solution delivers value and positions the organization for sustained growth and innovation. The team is currently pivoted towards supporting the rapid growth of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure business but will also focus across all lines of business.

Scope of Role

The OAL Solution Architect owns solution architecture engagement for a set of prioritized business initiatives. The person will leverage their deep expertise in business process, business applications (specifically Fusion) and cloud infrastructure to efficiently develop solution architectures to determine scope, size, effort and outcomes for the business initiative. The role will report to the Enterprise Solution Architect leader within OAL Product and Portfolio Center of Excellence.

Business Critical Solution Design: Define and guide high-priority, enterprise-wide architectural initiativesdirectly influencing how Oracle realizes measurable business value, improves operational efficiency, and maximizes the opportunity to apply AI/ML.

Professional Growth: Work with other architects and be recognized as a leading contributor, providing direction, mentoring, and influencing best practices.

Preferred Experience

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in total across solution architecture, solution scoping and design, applications project implementation and cloud infrastructure.

At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Business Applications (ERP, CRM, Data and analytics, AI), ideally with Oracle Fusion.

Experience in leading systems architecture engagement with senior business and engineering stakeholders to define roadmaps, ratify solution design and validate delivery plans.

A positive and innovative attitude around design and delivery of solutions to customers coupled with the ability to articulate a solution strategy to internal customer and executives.

Practical experience in leveraging standard architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and underlying architecture tooling.

Ability to break down complex problems/issues to determine the appropriate assessments and recommendations to fix the issues.

Able to develop strong internal relationships. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Undergraduate or higher-level degree(s) holder or have equivalent work experience.

Background in the high tech, software sectors.

A set of Oracle Cloud certifications on Fusion, Data, Infrastructure and AI would be very beneficial.

Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only: US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
