Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused Delivery Driver/Trainer for Specialty Vehicles to join our team. This position involves the transport and delivery of high-value vehicles to customers, events, and other locations. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling unique or custom vehicles with care and professionalism.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Safely transport specialty vehicles—including but not limited to luxury cars, emergency vehicles, RVs, or modified units—to specified destinations.
· Train customers to use all features on the specialty vehicle.
· Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and roadworthiness.
· Secure and protect vehicles during transport to prevent damage.
· Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including mileage logs, delivery receipts, inspection reports, and customer sign-offs.
· Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, provide updates, and confirm special handling instructions.
· Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and partners.
· Assist with loading, unloading, and vehicle setup as needed.
· Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and DOT regulations applicable to the vehicle type being driven.
· Report any vehicle issues, incidents, or delays immediately to supervisors.
· Perform a final quality check to ensure all features of the vehicle are working as designed.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Valid CDL B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· 2+ years of professional driving experience, preferably with specialty or high-value vehicles.
· Experience with vehicle trailers, flatbeds, or enclosed haulers is a strong plus.
· Excellent driving, navigation, and time management skills.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently, handle high-value assets, and make sound decisions on the road.
· Must pass a background check and drug screening.
· Familiarity with GPS, digital logbooks, and vehicle tracking systems preferred.
· Experience with transporting exotic, custom, armored, or emergency vehicles preferred.
· Mechanical aptitude or light maintenance experience a bonus.Company Description
