Location: Athens, OH
Salary: $85k-$110k
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is executed efficiently and meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of concrete operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of concrete construction sites
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment
Oversee the quality control of concrete work and ensure compliance with specifications
Schedule labor and materials to ensure timely project completion
Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety regulations on-site
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report on project progress to stakeholders
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role
Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques and materials
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Experience with project management is a plus
Familiarity with civil engineering principles and practices
Knowledge of excavating, flatwork, structural, and earthwork processes is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
