Shifts consist of 8 and 10-hour nights, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing various imaging studies in a multi-functional setting. The role includes operating X-ray equipment for general and specialized imaging, assisting in the Operating Room (OR), and performing fluoroscopy cases.

Responsibilities

Conduct general X-ray studies and assist with OR cases, including cystoscopies and orthopedic procedures.

Perform fluoroscopy cases related to gastrointestinal and orthopedic procedures.

Operate portable X-ray units and C-arms in various clinical settings.

Collaborate effectively with other techs and healthcare professionals in the department.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification.

Valid West Virginia X-ray License.

ARRT certification required.

Ability to float and cover multiple areas including general department, fluoro, and OR.

Experience with EMR (Community Works) and PACS (Intellirad/Intelliconnect) is preferred.
