Office-Based Virtual Assistant (MYOB Accounting Software Background) Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Office-Based Virtual Assistant with proven experience using MYOB accounting software.

The client operates in the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Electrical industry, and this role combines administrative support with bookkeeping responsibilities.

This position requires someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, and ensure that both financial and administrative operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day financial transactions using MYOB (AccountRight, Essentials, or Advanced). Process accounts payable and receivable, including creating invoices for service jobs and processing supplier payments.

Maintain organized records of company expenses, project costs, and reimbursements.

Work closely with external accountants and auditors for compliance and end-of-period reporting.

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the client and management team.

Handle email and calendar management, schedule service appointments, and follow up on pending activities.

Prepare and maintain documents, quotations, reports, and spreadsheets related to projects and operations.

Communication & Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and technicians to ensure seamless scheduling, billing, and service delivery.

Assist in preparing presentations, client quotations, and meeting materials.

Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

MYOB certification or training is an advantage.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Virtual Assistant, Administrative, or Bookkeeping role.

Proven hands-on experience using MYOB (AccountRight, Essentials, or Advanced). Familiarity with Google Workspace and other office or task management tools.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data management.

Excellent data entry accuracy and organizational skills.
