Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular IR experience and EVAR proficiency. Responsibilities
Work in a Hybrid OR Suite equipped for advanced vascular interventions
Position is located within a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital
Unit serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
Procedures include angiography, stents, angioplasty, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and dialysis graft interventions
Neurovascular and abdominal/pelvic interventions such as carotid angiography, embolization, mesenteric angiograms, vertebroplasty, and TIPS are performed
Must be able to operate GE Innova IGS, C-arm, and PACS systems
Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 125 on-call hours per month
Floating to other units within the organization is required as needed
Responsibilities include performing advanced interventional radiology procedures and maintaining imaging equipment
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly following contract signing
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Former employees are eligible after a 6-month break from facility employment
Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible as travelers
All requested time off must be submitted with initial consideration Requirements
Minimum 1 year of vascular interventional radiology experience required
Must have proven experience with Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
ACLS and ARRT(VI) certifications preferred
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital is preferred
Proficiency with angiography, vascular procedures, neurovascular, abdominal and pelvic procedures, fluoroscopy, and PACS operations
Must be able to provide two professional references, with at least one from a managerial or leadership role
