Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of high precision electronic measuring and process control equipment, has an opening for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory, proper documentation, and timely delivery.

The hourly pay rate range is $19.00 - $21.00 depending on experience. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. This is a temporary to hire opportunity working in a very clean & climate control environment.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk Duties:

Ships and receives goods.

Organizing shipments and package materials for safe shipment.

Maintains costing files for each project.

Obtains supplier cost estimates necessary for each project.

Allocates materials and/or equipment from stock.

Operate hi-lo

Coordinates vendor selection based on approved suppliers list.

Schedules jobs with various departments with the direction of the Product Manager

Shipping/Receiving Clerk Requirements:

1+ years of related experience

HSD or GED

Experience operating a hi-lo

Must pass background check and drug screen

Basic computer skills.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk Skills:

Willingness to operate warehouse equipment.

Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items

Exhibit excellent organizational skills

Basic computer skills.
