Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and observant Guard Shack Security Officer to monitor and control access at our facility entrance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by verifying credentials, recording visitor and vehicle information, and responding to incidents calmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access at the facility gate or entrance.

Verify identification and credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees.

Log visitor information, deliveries, and vehicle details accurately.

Conduct vehicle checks as required.

Respond to alarms or incidents and notify emergency services if necessary.

Maintain a visible and professional presence at the guard shack.

Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Ensure the guard shack is kept clean and organized.

Follow all company safety and security procedures.

Requirements:

Prior security experience preferred but not required.

Ability to remain alert and observant during long periods of duty.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

Stationed primarily in a guard shack.

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, depending on the season.

May involve night shifts, weekends, and holidays.Company Description
