Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position in a dynamic clinical setting requiring evaluation and treatment skills. Responsibilities

Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Caseload includes general physical therapy patients and injured workers

Work with and supervise PT assistants and technicians

Utilizes a variety of modalities and exercise equipment

Responsibilities include supervising assistants and technicians, and supporting administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling

Requires updating rehab nurses and maintaining timely documentation for progress notes

Collaboration with referring physicians and communication with case managers is expected

Participation in business development, community events, and marketing activities may be required as patient load allows

Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills necessary when interacting with patients, doctors, and other stakeholders Requirements

Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable

Must meet all licensure requirements for the state of employment

Ability to evaluate and treat a variety of physical therapy conditions

Competence or willingness to train in Work Hardening Evaluations, Functional Capacity Evaluations, ergonomic assessments, and post-offer testing Benefits
