Unit: Nursing Float - Med/Surg Specialty

Start Date: December 1, 2025

End Date: December 15, 2025

Duration: 2-week travel contract

Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (Iowa RN license required)

BLS (AHA) certification

NIHSS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience

Ability to float to various hospital units as needed Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Med/Surg unit

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary clinical team

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records

Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care needs

Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
