Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Asset Management

Position Overview

The CEO will provide overall leadership and management for the firm's operations in Hong Kong. The role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring full compliance with Hong Kong regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in fixed income, equities, and alternative investments, with a strong track record in managing and growing Real-World Asset (RWA) investment platforms is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the firm's business strategy. Lead capital raising efforts and drive the expansion of investment products, with a focus on fixed income, equities, and alternative investments, including RWA strategies.

Operations & Performance: Oversee all daily operations and manage the company's P&L. Ensure robust financial controls and deliver strong, sustainable financial performance.

Compliance & Governance: Serve as a key Manager-in-Charge (MIC) for the SFC. Guarantee strict adherence to all regulatory requirements for SFC Type 1, 4, and 9 licenses.

Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary representative to the Board, the SFC, and key clients including HNW families and institutional investors from Greater China.

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team capable of executing the firm's strategy in a competitive market.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in asset management or private banking in Hong Kong/Asia.

Proven expertise and a strong track record in fixed income, equities, and alternative investments. Direct experience with Real-World Assets (RWA) is essential.

Demonstrated success in P&L management and capital raising, specifically from Mandarin-speaking investors.

In-depth, practical knowledge of the SFC regulatory framework.

Trilingual fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is a non-negotiable requirement.
