Shift: 3 12 Days (7 a - 7:30 p) or 3 12 Nights (7 p - 7:30 a) Job Details

Charting System: Epic (required)

Floating: To other MedSurg Oncology units

Scheduling: Self-schedule (no blocked scheduling)

Patient Ratio Goal: 1 : 4 (can be 1 : 5)

Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics Requirements

Experience: 2 years (Oncology experience preferred but not required)

Certifications: BLS (required) ONS Chemo (preferred)

Travel Experience: Preferred Unit Overview

36-bed oncology/med-surg unit caring for solid tumor cancers including Breast, Lung, Prostate, Pancreatic, Colon, and Esophageal

Heavy focus on infection prevention and patient fall safety

Provides full spectrum of care: diagnosis treatment end-of-life support Skills

IV Therapy & Phlebotomy

Blood Product Administration

Central Line & Port Access

Interpretation & Management of Dysrhythmias

Chemotherapy Administration (preferred)

Tracheostomy Care (preferred) Equipment

GE Telemetry System (B450 Monitors)

Alaris Pumps

Stryker Beds

Bladder Scanner Additional Info

Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units

Self-scheduling with flexibility based on unit needs

Flu Vaccine: Required (medical exemption only)

COVID Vaccine: Not required
