Position: RN-PACU-Post Anesthetic Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.
Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress post-anesthesia.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.
Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Utilize data to assess and enhance patient care outcomes.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Texas with PACU experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-visibility, performance-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols and procedures.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Commitment to adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs effectively.
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
Ability to evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
Experience collaborating with surgical teams for patient transitions.
Strong documentation skills for accurate patient care records.
