Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Assist in achieving departmental performance targets.
Utilize data to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Educate patients and families on health management.
Support a positive team environment and culture.
Experience/Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
Proven ability to meet performance targets in a high-visibility environment.
Experience in MedSurg nursing with a focus on patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Capacity to educate patients and families on health management strategies.
Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols in healthcare.
Ability to analyze data to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards.
