Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team goals.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Engage in performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives.
Adapt to changing patient needs and healthcare environments effectively.
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in New York State required for practice.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
Track record of achieving performance targets and contributing to team goals.
Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Strong understanding of patient care documentation and compliance standards.
Proficient in administering medications and treatments as per protocols.
Strong communication skills to educate patients and families effectively.
