Position: RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina — earn up to ($2353 - $2477 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.

Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes.

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals.

Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

Manage time effectively to meet surgical schedules.

Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiovascular operating room.

Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.

Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient safety standards.

Proven ability to monitor and interpret vital signs.

Ability to document patient care accurately and efficiently.

Time management skills to meet surgical schedules effectively.

Experience in maintaining sterile environments during procedures.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to support colleagues.
