Position: RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — earn up to ($2275 - $2395 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgeries ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures.

Contribute to achieving departmental targets and improving patient care quality.

Collaborate with surgical team to prepare operating room and equipment.

Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.

Utilize pipelines to assess and improve surgical procedures and outcomes.

Provide post-operative care and support to patients and families.

Adapt to high visibility work environment and maintain accountability.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for each procedure.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.

Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for personal growth.

Participate in team meetings to discuss case reviews and improvements.

Experience/Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience required.

Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin or compact state.

Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting cardiovascular patient vitals.

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Experience with electronic health records and maintaining detailed patient documentation.

Adaptability to high visibility and results-driven work environment.

Strong communication skills to support patient and family post-operative care.

Understanding of hospital policies and safety regulations compliance.
