Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in observation unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team goals.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
Document patient information accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
Participate in continuous professional development activities.
Adapt to changing healthcare environments and protocols.
Utilize data to track and improve patient outcomes.
Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in New York State.
Minimum of 2 years experience in an observation unit or similar setting.
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation software.
Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Ability to achieve and exceed individual performance targets.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments.
Experience with data-driven patient outcome tracking.
