Position: RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgeries ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during operations.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Collaborate with surgical team to prepare operating room and equipment.

Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.

Contribute to a high-performance culture by achieving individual and team targets.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for each procedure.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families about procedures.

Utilize data and feedback to improve personal and team performance.

Support the development of best practices in the cardiovascular operating room.

Adapt to new technologies and methodologies in cardiovascular care.

Engage in peer reviews and feedback sessions to enhance skills.

Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Illinois.

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing.

Strong communication skills with patients and surgical team.

Ability to work effectively in a high-visibility, results-driven environment.

Proficiency in monitoring patient vitals and emergency response.

Experience in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

Proven track record of achieving individual and team targets.

Ability to adapt to new cardiovascular technologies and methodologies.

Detail-oriented in maintaining accurate patient records.
