Position: RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs regularly.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient care quality.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Maintain a high level of visibility in work activities and results.
Manage time effectively to meet patient care deadlines.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license in New York State with PCU experience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong ability to monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions.
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
Ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans.
Proficient in documenting patient care activities accurately.
Strong time management skills to meet patient care deadlines.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in patient care.
Willingness to engage in team meetings for care strategy discussions.
