APRN On Call Provider

Job Description

Austin Geriatric Specialists (AGS) is the leading provider of excellent and evidence based geriatric care in the Austin area.

AGS is seeking full-time Advanced Practice Nurse to patient calls and provide medical support. This is a remote position with no in-person visits. You will answer clinical questions, triage medical issues, and give verbal orders.

Occasional participation in practice meetings during business hours (approximately 4-5 times a year).

Schedule:

Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm

Thursday 5 pm - Friday 7 am

Friday 11 pm - Saturday 7 am

Saturday 11 pm - Sunday 7 am

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and skilled nursing staff.

Experience in the clinical management of acute and chronically ill complex geriatric patients.

Positive and inquisitive attitude.

Reliable high speed internet access

License/Training: Texas advanced practice license with prescriptive authority. DEA not required.
