Lull and Skid Steer Operator Wanted
Position Overview:
The Lull and Skid Steer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating rough terrain forklifts (Lull) and skid steer loaders on construction sites. This role includes handling materials, assisting in site preparation, supporting crews with heavy lifting and transport, and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Lull (telehandler/rough terrain forklift) to lift, move, and place materials at designated locations on the job site.
Operate skid steer loaders for grading, backfilling, loading, unloading, and material handling.
Assist with site preparation, debris removal, and job site cleanup.
Perform daily equipment inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow all site safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
Work closely with supervisors, trades, and laborers to support project tasks.
Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage and maintain site efficiency.
Transport and stage construction materials as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating Lull (telehandler) and skid steer equipment.
Knowledge of construction site safety and equipment operation standards.
Ability to read and follow directions, blueprints, or site layout plans.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Valid operator certification/license (OSHA or equivalent) preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments.
