Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: Blythe, CA

Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible Days/Times

Compensation: $90 - $105/hr (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical and psychiatric care to our patients. Working in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, the NP will conduct assessments, prescribe medications, manage ongoing treatment, and provide education to clients and their families. This position requires a proactive, empathetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical and psychiatric evaluations for patients upon admission and throughout treatment.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring adherence to best practices and state/federal guidelines.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate patient care.

Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.

Document all services in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice (psychiatric certification preferred but not required).

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use, or related settings.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

EMR proficiency (experience with KIPU is a plus).
