Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate assigned Mobile Service vehicle in a professional manner and according to company requirements; keep unit clean and well stocked.

Preparing the vehicle with any needed parts for that day's appointments

Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures

Efficiently and accurately perform quality work in accordance with dealerships and factory standards

Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology

Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers and co-workers

Prepares complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts for any recommended maintenance upsell

Reconciling the customers final invoice with the work performed on the repair order and working with Mobile Service Coordinators to collect any payment due before leaving

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Other duties as assigned

Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all departments.

Maintains workplace safety throughout the Corporation.

Qualifications:

Prior automotive technician & customer service experience required

Travel around the area in the Mobile Service Vehicle is required all year round

Possess Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

Bring a positive, upbeat attitude to this role and be completely comfortable with customers.

Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction

Must have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms

Ability to evolve and adapt to changing business needs

Must adhere to safety procedures

Must be able to work overtime and/or Saturdays as needed

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
