Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during surgery.
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure successful operations.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient safety.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
Utilize performance metrics to improve personal and team success.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state license.
Minimum of 2 years experience in an OR setting as a Registered Nurse.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting patient vitals during surgery.
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and surgical team.
Proven track record of achieving performance metrics and targets.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Experience with electronic health records and maintaining detailed patient documentation.
Ability to sterilize and prepare surgical equipment efficiently.
Flexibility to adapt care plans based on patient outcomes.
