Position: RN-ER-Emergency Department (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-ER-Emergency Department for a 13-week contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico — earn up to ($1584 - $1667 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care plans.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for effective treatment.

Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.

Meet performance targets and contribute to departmental goals.

Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.

Utilize medical equipment and technology efficiently in emergency situations.

Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for continuous improvement.

Participate in emergency drills and preparedness activities.

Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting team members.

Experience/Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency nursing.

Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong ability to work under pressure in high-stress environments.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets consistently.

Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

Familiarity with emergency preparedness protocols and drills.
