Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will serve a hybrid role: clinical provider, aesthetic injector/technician, and partial operations/management support. She or he will carry out pre-operative and post-operative care, deliver aesthetic services, oversee staff, and help maintain daily operations, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and safety.
Expanded Daily / Routine Tasks & Responsibilities
Clinical & Aesthetic Care
Perform new patient consultations: review medical history, aesthetic goals, assess contraindications.
Develop treatment plans tailored to each client (e.g. combining injectables, lasers, skin care, energy devices).
Administer aesthetic procedures, such as:
Botox / neuromodulator injections
Dermal fillers
PDO / PDO-plus threads
Microneedling / radiofrequency microneedling
Laser/IPL treatments (hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation, vascular)
Chemical peels, medical-grade facials
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) / PRF therapies
Skin boosters, mesotherapy, vitamin injections
Non-surgical body contouring / fat reduction (if offered)
Provide pre-op preparation: confirm labs/imaging, medical clearance, instruct on pre-procedure care (e.g. stop certain meds, hydrate, avoid sun).
Provide post-op / post-procedure care: monitor healing, manage side effects (bruising, swelling, infections, asymmetry), suture removal, wound care, dressings, and follow-up assessments.
Manage complications or adverse events (hematoma, skin necrosis, infections) and escalate to the Medical Director or surgeon as needed.
Write prescriptions or order medications (topicals, antibiotics, analgesics) as part of pre- or post-op protocols.
Educate and counsel clients on skin-care regimens, product protocols, home care, follow-up schedule.
Track patient progress, take before/after photos, measure outcomes, adapt treatment plans over time.
Operational & Day-to-Day Clinic Tasks
Oversee inventory of injectables, lasers, skincare products, disposables; place orders, manage stock levels, check expiration dates.
Train, mentor, and supervise supporting staff (medical assistants, estheticians, laser technicians).
Assist in scheduling decisions, optimizing provider utilization / appointment flows, reducing downtime.
Lead or contribute to team huddles / daily meetings to review schedules, client issues, safety protocols.
Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols (sterilization, disinfection, sharps disposal, universal precautions).Qualifications & Skills
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Florida (or eligible)
Prior experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medspa preferred
Strong bedside manner, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
Competence in injectables, lasers, energy devices, skincare protocols
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
High attention to detail and safety mindset
