CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

Job Description

Essential Functions:

· Configure machine components

· Perform high tolerance aerospace machining

· Read and interpret prints and work instructions, applying geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T)

· Regularly use high tolerance measuring gauges such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

· Perform basic edits and offsets as necessary

· Maintain quality, tolerances and surface finishes as required

· Keep machine(s) and work area clean and orderly

· Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications

· Abide by company safety guidelines

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

3-5 years CNC experience, preferably in the aerospace manufacturing environment

Ability to work independently with occasional assistant

Must possess a strong level of machining capabilities

Must be able to work 50+ hours per week.
