Job Summary

A confidential manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs and improvements on buildings and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met through proactive maintenance and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.

Complete daily checklists, repair procedures, and maintenance documentation accurately.

Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and adhere to safety regulations during maintenance activities.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including maintenance shops and storage areas.

Oversee the cleanliness and stocking of break rooms, bathrooms, and shared areas.

Maintain exterior facility aesthetics such as landscaping, lighting, and parking areas.

Operate and maintain heavy equipment, ensuring proper oil and fuel levels and readiness for use.

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and environmental regulations, including 40 CFR 262.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

Certifications and Training

RCRA/HAZCOM training required (annually, per 40 CFR 262).
