Tool and Die Maker
The Tool & Die Tech will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications to build and repair molds and tooling. The role involves operating manual and CNC machines to fabricate precision components, assembling, fitting, and testing molds and tooling for blow molding applications, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications to build and repair molds and tooling.
Operate manual and CNC machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM to fabricate precision components.
Assemble, fit, and test molds and tooling for blow molding applications.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling design and efficiency.
Read blueprints, technical drawings, and work with CAD/CAM software.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.
Journeyman tool maker certification or 5-7 years of experience in tool making.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
Experience with CAM/CAM software.
Experience in CNC machining and manual machining.
Experience with calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

3 weeks PTO every year-prorated based on start date-(candidates starting this time of year will get around 20 hours to use for the remainder of the year)
