Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support daily operations in a long-term/post-acute care pharmacy environment. This role involves verifying prescriptions, managing controlled substances, and providing clinical expertise while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Verify accuracy and completeness of prescription labels and orders, including emergency kits and IV medications
Maintain patient medication profiles and clinical data records
Oversee the handling, documentation, and inventory of controlled substances, including Schedule II drugs
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to reconcile controlled substance inventories
Respond to drug-related inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal staff
Document communications with physicians, nurses, patients, and caregivers
Supervise or prepare sterile IV drug products and solutions
Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
Support workflow management and contribute to operational efficiency
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $65.00/hr.
