Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a focus on NICU and PICU care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be able to provide high-quality respiratory care for neonates and pediatric patients. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and modalities to patients.

Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage neonatal transports.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment.

Perform direct intubation, extubation, and airway management as necessary.

Provide care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, ECMO, and respiratory distress syndrome.

Draw and interpret arterial blood gases to assess patient status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU/PICU settings.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.

Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.

State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
