Staff Manager at Dog Boarding at the Beach

Dog Boarding At The Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for one staff manager to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 401 Tyner St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. This role will work cohesively with our current staff manager to provide excellent customer service and thorough inspections of the facility. Weekends and holidays required, flexibility in scheduling is required. We are staffed 7 days a week from 6:30am-9pm. This is a very physically demanding job, our staff manager trains in all areas of the facility to provide thorough training to new staff. This job would be best for a person who thrives in a fast paced environment and is an independent worker. The hours can be very stressful, working between 60 and 70 per week when understaffed and during peak times.

Experience in this field is not required but is helpful.

Responsibilities

Train, encourage, educate and oversee all staff

Assist with front desk as needed

Staff evaluations

Interviews and hiring

Enforcing company policies

Event planning and execution

Assist with staff scheduling

Thorough daily inspections

Research, assign and follow up on staff training programs

Plan, prepare and execute staff meetings

Implement new policies as needed

Qualifications

2 years of management experience

Exceptional communication skill

Attention to detail

Previous employment as a cleaner or inspector is a plus but not required

Although you will not be hands on with our dogs, love of dogs is a must in any position here
