A leading international machine manufacturer, that builds and remanufactures roll grinders, lathes, mills and many other large machine tools, is seeking to employ:

Roll Grinder Software Commissioning Technician

The position involves startup, commissioning and service of Roll Grinding machines in the steel, aluminum and paper industry.

Technical Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation of roll grinding machines and ensure they are set up according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Conduct test runs and performance evaluations to ensure the machines meet required precision and output levels.

Train operators and maintenance staff on the proper use and upkeep of roll grinding machines.

Analyze grinding processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.

Provide technical support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine capabilities and operational efficiency.

Skills Required:

Familiarity with motion control software, PLC’s and HMIs.

Knowledge of servo motors and drives

Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and principles.

Understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
