We are seeking an assembler to support 1st shift operations for our client. The assembler will perform soldering and hand assembly on various circuit card assemblies and mechanical chassis.
Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and modules using proper tooling and written instructions
Wire subassemblies following wiring lists and diagrams
Complete routing instructions and process sheets accurately
Verify and inspect products to ensure conformance to requirements and perform rework as needed
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations using standard measuring tools and techniques
Follow work order instructions, policies, and procedures
Perform soldering and inspection tasks when certified
Cross-train in other assembly areas as needed
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
Skills Required:
Basic computer and typing skills
Strong mechanical assembly ability and attention to detail
Focus on quality and strong communication skills
Must pass a VAST (Visual Acuity) test
Skills Preferred:
Ability to hand solder to J-Standard / IPC-610 Class 3 standards (training provided if needed)
Wiring of circuit cards and mechanical assembly by hand
Experience with rework and conformal coating
Experience Required:

Education Required:
Two years of High School or Trade School education
