Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect : Payments (12:Month Contract) Were looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a major transformation programme focused on modernising payments systems.

This is a 12:month fixed:term contract offering the chance to shape the architecture of a cloud:native, SaaS:based platform handling multiple UK payment types.

What youll be doing: * Define and deliver end:to:end payments architecture across inbound and outbound flows.

* Work closely with Product Owners, Analysts, and Development teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and resilient.

* Influence the technical roadmap for UK payment rails, including CHAPS, Bacs, Faster Payments, Direct Debits, and credit cards.

* Apply your expertise to modern cloud:native solutions, ensuring integration across multiple applications and data sources.

Essential skills and experience: * Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on UK payments.

* Hands:on knowledge of CHAPS, Bacs, Faster Payments, Direct Debits, and credit cards.

* Experience delivering solutions in large:scale transformation or modernisation programmes.

* Strong technical understanding of architecture frameworks, scalable design patterns, and cloud platforms (ideally Azure). Desirable skills: * TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural framework experience.

* Familiarity with payment regulations such as PSD2 / PSD3.

* Experience with SaaS or cloud:native platforms.
