Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our high-performing Hub team and drive operational excellence across our customer portfolio — including B&Q, DFS, Peloton, EZ Living Interiors, and more.

This position is mainly based in Dublin but also covering Athlone / Cork as required-(20% travel)

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to 55,000 (euro) per annum. You will also have access to a company car or car allowance as well as a discretionary target led bonus. In addition, we offer 23 days plus bank holidays. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

End-to-end management of customer stock — from receipt to final-mile delivery

Ownership of site cost centre performance, budget adherence, and cost reduction initiatives

Development and delivery of site KPIs aligned with customer SLAs

Leadership of a collaborative, motivated, and high-performing team

Acting as the key escalation point for customer issues and resolution

Driving continuous improvement and leading process optimisation

Managing system and stock discrepancies, damage/missing reports, and revenue-maximising updates

Overseeing supplier and subcontractor relationships and performance reviews

Health, Safety & Compliance

Full accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental standards

Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance across all procedures

Managing hub equipment, vehicle compliance, and workplace organisation

People Leadership

Fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams

Aligning labour plans with business needs and managing absence/overtime targets

Monitoring performance through PDRs and 1:1s

Developing future leaders and driving succession planning

Championing change and innovation across the site

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Proven experience in operations or logistics management

Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Commercial acumen with a focus on cost control and efficiency

Passion for continuous improvement and team development

Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
