About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Aide to provide clerical, caretaking, and paraprofessional support to certificated staff in our educational programs. This position involves a high degree of positive contact with special education students, assisting with learning activities, and helping maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment. This role involves travel to school sites and providing support on proprietary company platforms such as VillageED and iTAAP.

What You'll Do

Work with students to tutor and reinforce learning in small groups or one-on-one sessions.

Support instruction and prepare materials and help teachers implement lesson plans.

Maintain records and keep files organized.

Monitor students during activities like lunch, recess, and bus loading.

Collaborate with teachers to plan activities and discuss student progress.

Follow all legal and policy requirements for student information.

Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to our Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings.

Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms.

What You Bring

High school diploma

A minimum of one year (100 hours) of paid or volunteer work.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Possess a valid CA Speech Aide license, or be eligible and willing to obtain one through the Speech-Language Pathology Board.
