The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a talented brigade in a kitchen that consistently delivers at 3 Rosette standard. Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role, driving creativity, organisation, and consistency across every service.

Your Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee the team in their absence
Prepare and cook dishes to 3 Rosette level with precision and consistency
Manage your section effectively, ensuring readiness, organisation, and quality control
Contribute to menu development and seasonal innovation
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards
Maintain a clean, well-organised work environment and lead by example
Mentor and develop junior chefs, encouraging continuous learning and progression
Assist with stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships
About You
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a 2–3 Rosette or Michelin Guide-standard kitchen
Exceptional technical ability and a passion for high-end modern British cuisine
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
Strong communicator and natural team leader with a supportive management style
Organised and detail-oriented, with pride in presentation and flavour
Motivated to maintain and enhance the property’s outstanding reputation
