Join our healthcare team and experience the Big Island's vibrant culture, tropical climate, and supportive medical community while providing expert clinical support in a busy surgical environment.\n\n\nKey Job Details – Hawaii Nursing Jobs\n\n Location: Hilo, Hawaii (96720) – Explore the natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere of the Big Island's east coast.\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $1580–$1700\n Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (option to extend)\n Start Date: November 10, 2025\n Hours per Week: 32–40 hours (variable; 40 hours typical, 32 hours possible during holiday weeks)\n Shift: Variable shifts between 6:45 AM and 11:15 PM, Monday–Friday\n On-Call: Required; 1–2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month (must be within 30-minute radius for call-back)\n Unit: Operating Room (6 OR suites + 1 dedicated C-section suite)\n Dress Code: Scrubs provided\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n Active, unrestricted State of Hawaii RN license\n BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n 2–3 years of recent hospital operating room experience circulating cases\n Ability to scrub cases preferred\n Experience with Meditech and PYXIS systems is a plus\n Ability to respond to call-backs within 30 minutes\n\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n\n Circulate diverse surgical cases: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures\n Assist with turnover cleaning and patient transport\n Schedule cases and maintain efficient workflow in the operating room\n Participate in rotating on-call schedule, providing 24/7 coverage as assigned\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care\n Complete orientation on day shift for up to one week or as determined by management\n\n\n \n Join our dedicated healthcare team in a fast-paced, supportive operating room setting.
