What you will do

As an Associate, you will be involved in every phase of a consulting engagement, from pre-proposal research through final implementation. Almost immediately, you will join a project team, working at a client location, sharing your ideas, solving problems and providing solutions in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology. Candidates will build their project management and client management skills, and further develop their communication and presentation abilities.

Support strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities

Gather and analyse data to make recommendations and actions to help our clients

Analyse client spend data to discover savings opportunities and ways of adding value

Identify the client's purchasing needs, eSourcing processes, and technology requirements including the implementation of SMART by GEP

Understand client needs to provide flawless service

Work closely with senior management and clients to develop tools and to create customized proposals and lead client and analyst teams as needed

Assisting with business development activities

Working with corporate communications to increase awareness of our services

Support firm building activities including recruiting, training etc

Develop opportunities to create intellectual capital

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

What you should bring

Must be business fluent in English.

Additional fluency in German

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Great presentation skills

Ability to travel 80% of the time
