We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Procurement Advisor to provide support to our Team!

About Your Role:

You will support the team in purchasing production/project material requirements (raw materials, components, equipment, and services) across our Manufacturing & Maintenance sites, to ensure goods are available at the required time and place and meet quality requirements and specifications.

Key duties will include:

Support the team in the supply of materials, chasing up where required and maintaining communication between all parties regarding any changes/variances

Record and report any non-conformance, quality issues, and delivery problems

Expedite orders with suppliers as per UGL process and raise all necessary transactions in the procurement system and documentation

Update the purchasing system with accurate information, including but not limited to ETA, pricing, and lead times

Support and coordinate the procurement process from requisition to purchase order

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships

About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Experience in procurement, supply chain or related role

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and principles, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Familiarity with SAP systems will be advantageous

Strong communication skills, including effective negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to establish working relationships with people at various levels both internally and externally

Previous working experience in safety-critical environments such as rail, automotive, military, defence, or avionics
