This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in behavioral health who can provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a structured inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:Deliver direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditionsMonitor patient status and respond to changes in conditionAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plansMaintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocolsEnsure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff Qualifications:Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience preferredBLS certification required; additional behavioral health certifications a plusStrong communication and crisis intervention skillsAbility to work independently during overnight hours
