Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

Material Handler/Forklift- Stayton, OR

1ST Shift- 6am-3:30pm

Must have valid driver's license

$23.74 per hour

Must be able to lift and maneuver material weighing up to 50 lbs (50 + lbs requires help from another employee).

1) Load material for all sawyers (including bead and track)

2) Must be able to put all boxes away. (bead, track, setups, sdl, patio boxes, etc.)

3) Assist department leads and other material handlers as needed

4) Check quality of vinyl and other materials.

5) Empty garbage (dumpsters, cardboard, recycle) daily

6) Smash garbage (wood, glass, cardboard, etc) dumpsters as needed daily

7) Take scrap bags, battens, and vinyl racks outside daily

8) Take empty boxes out daily (bead, track, setups, sdl, etc)

9) Unload vinyl trucks if necessary

10) Reload scrap bags and returns onto trucks if necessary.

11) Unload glass trucks if necessary

12) Unload any other material that needs to be unloaded in receiving area if necessary. (UPS and LTL carriers) Packing slips must be signed, dated, and accurate.

13) Put vinyl away daily and rotate inventory as needed.

14) Keep work area clean (including outside). Assist other material handlers in keeping their work area clean. Help keep inventory (kan-ban) rack area and receiving area clean.

15) Put material away on inventory rack (kan-ban rack)

16) Maintain vinyl racks, vinyl storage area and boxes and keep them organized.

17) Ship material UPS and Fed-Ex if necessary (gather material, print UPS/Fed-Ex labels)

18) Cycle counts as needed

19) All physical inventories are mandatory.

20) Need to be able to work overtime on short notice.
