Summary of Position
This role supports the Purchasing Department by analyzing inventory levels and transaction data, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and payments. Responsibilities also include preparing and distributing weekly inventory reports, monitoring vendor returns, and tracking purchase order receipts to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze inventory levels and transaction data to support purchasing decisions
Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Oversee cycle counts in other warehouses
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and payments
Ensure timely processing of job request sheets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate inventory records and support procurement activities
Assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and documentation standards
Prepare and distribute weekly inventory reports to relevant stakeholders
Special Projects as assigned
Enter purchase requisition for low stock items into ERP system Position Requirements
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in a University program with a major in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
High degree of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Understanding of urgency and timeliness
Regular attendance Technical Skills
Data Entry
Basic math comprehension
Strong Excel Skills
ERP Software experience (a plus but not required)
Microsoft Office Suite
