We are seeking a self-motivated and client focused insurance professional to join our team as a Producing Account Executive, Small Commercial Lines. This hybrid role is responsible for both new business production and ongoing account management. This role is ideal for a licensed and experienced insurance professional who thrives in a dual-capacity position, building and managing a book of small commercial lines business, while being administratively strong in delivering exceptional client service.
What You'll Be Doing
Meet or exceed sales and retention goals through marketing activities, proactive touches, round outs, cross-leads, referrals, etc.
Conduct needs assessments and prepare and deliver quotes and proposals on new and renewal business.
Provide day-to-day service and support to clients, including policy changes, certificates, billing inquiries, and claims assistance.
Conduct annual reviews and renewal meetings to ensure coverage remains appropriate and competitive.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between clients and carriers to resolve issues and ensure timely service.
Maintain accurate records in agency management system.
Stay current on carrier technology, carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
Follow and align to agency and department workflows, confidentiality standards, and quality metrics.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Work on projects and other work as assigned.
Collaborate with team members, provide backup support, and contribute to team collaboration.
Engage in ongoing professional development through internal training and learning opportunities.

Demonstrated experience of small business risk exposures and managing a large book of business.
Demonstrated experience with commercial insurance products such as GL, BOPs, Property, WC, Auto, Umbrella, Cyber, etc.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building lasting client relationships.
Ability to produce results while responding positively to pressure.
Strong communication skills with focus on listening, understanding, and responsiveness.
Strong organizational skills with deep attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Ability to work successfully and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.
Experience with agency management systems, carrier portals, and other technologies.
Proficient with AI and ability to learn new/future technologies and tools to enhance service and efficiency.
Commitment to continuous learning and development and staying ahead of marketplace.
Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and projects.
Highly self-motivated with strong work ethic, adaptability, and stress tolerance to overcome hurdles.
Team player who consistently defaults to good. Qualifications
3+ years of small commercial lines sales and account management experience.
Active Property & Casualty license in good standing required.
Strong knowledge of small business insurance products.
Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
College Degree Preferred; high school diploma required, equivalent professional experience considered. General Working Conditions
