Schedule: Full-time
BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval
What You'll Be Doing:
Receives direction from IT Manager 1 in order to independently install, maintain, configure, upgrade &/or administers hardware and/or software, network administration, Windows endpoint administration, information security, and network connectivity, AD (Active Directory), (i.e., multiple technology domains) uses technical work knowledge to evaluate, select, adapt & modify standard procedures.
Assisting Endpoint Engineering team to devise new approaches to problems encountered.
Using Qualys reporting to identify and patch security vulnerabilities with the use of SCCM/MECM, BigFix & Qualys Patching.
Performing Windows endpoint administration (e.g. system updates, patching, provisioning, account management & privileges, file system organization & optimization, data archival, job scheduling, disaster recovery, system performance management, security, log management).
Using SCCM/MECM to diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for customer(s) across multiple technology domains.
Using Qualys &/or SCCM daily to review and monitor enterprise security systems.

To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
Required Experience and/or Education
48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Unusual Working Conditions:
Overtime may be required.
May be required to provide off hours support, either prescheduled or on an emergency basis.
May be required to work during evenings or weekends.
