Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with NYS licensure and Siemens and GE MRI experience for a weekday outpatient imaging position.
Responsibilities
Outpatient imaging center setting
Shift is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
MRI scanning performed using Siemens and GE systems
Cardiac MRI background is preferred
Responsibilities include performing high-quality MRI exams and injections per protocol
Cardiac MRI experience is valued and should be highlighted if applicable
Travelers must complete required online training modules prior to assignment
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Returning travelers may require a work history review for eligibility
Requirements
Current R.T. (R) (MR) certification required
Valid NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
NYS IV/Injection Certification required
3-5 years of MRI technologist experience required
Experience working with Siemens and GE MRI equipment is required
Two professional references from the previous year in MRI required
Only AHA certifications are accepted for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
