Looking for a medical optometrist to work in a larger rural community hospital with 1 established ophthalmologist, 1 optometrist, and 6 skilled certified ophthalmic assistants in a hospital owned practice. The office is located adjacent to the hospital for easy access. Highly engaged clinical and support staff.
Serves a patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric with a comprehensive array of professional Optometry services. These services encompass the assessment, diagnoses, treatment, and management of various conditions of the visual system.

Minimum Education
Graduate of fully accredited college of optometry program (OD)
Minimum Work Experience
1-3 years of clinic experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Licensed by National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
Licensed in the State of Vermont.
BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to deal with patients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills.
