Outbound sales rep and assistant to operations manager

The Outbound sales rep and assistant to operations manager will be responsible for the effective, efficient management and sales, by rendering their service to existing car dealerships and bringing new dealerships on board. Sourcing tenders for government work and engaging insurance companies for insurance work.

Requirements

• Matric

• Certificate / Diploma in Sales / Management will be advantageous.

• At least 3-5 years’ working experience as a salesperson, within a retail or wholesale environment or management position

• Valid driver’s license

• Basic working knowledge of MS Office, good admin skills will be advantageous

• Knowledge of the car audio industry will be advantageous

• Good command of the English and Afrikaans language

• Be well presented

Responsibilities – Outbound sales representative

• Must be comfortable in setting up meetings and engaging with car dealership representatives, management / dealer principles

• Must be able to maintain and build strong relationships with dealerships and clients

• Must have proven sales track record

• Close and grow sales through customer visits and through professional communication with existing and potential clients

• Manage customer requirements – by speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs

• Responsible for managing relationships with customers to enhance sales

Knowledge / Skills required

• Have a technical background, preferably in the car, car audio and car security industry

• Have operational experience (advantageous)

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

•Strong organisational skills

• Attention to detail

• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities – Assistant to the Operations Manager

• Operational Effectiveness

• Escalate matters of concern

• Prompt Engagement and resolving of customer complaints.

• Respond and resolve issues relating to poor service and workmanship.

• Visit stores and ensure standards are kept according to specification

• Maintaining and proposing solutions for Service Excellence

Remuneration: Salary negotiable and dependent on experience
